The problem

Buying authentic beauty products locally meant slow delivery, scattered brands and no confidence the product was real.

What I built

Complete purchase funnel: catalog, search, cart, checkout and payment integration
Live order state with push notifications from confirmation to doorstep
Curated multi-brand collections with a fully localized, RTL-aware experience
Shipped and maintained both the iOS app and the Android release
Designed and built hertshe.com in React, TypeScript and Vite on Cloudflare Workers

The problem

Pet owners had to hop between scattered stores for food, medicine and supplies, with no way to compare prices or know what was really in stock.

What I built

One search across every trusted pet store: food, toys, grooming, medicine and housing
Price comparison on the same product across vendors, so the best offer always surfaces first
A single cart that mixes brands and stores, with one secure checkout through the payment partners
Live order tracking from pick and pack to the doorstep, with in-app chat support
A species-aware catalog that re-themes itself for cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles and small pets
Designed and built grainoz.com in React, TypeScript and Vite on Cloudflare

Outcome

One cross-platform codebase for iOS and Android, fully localized in Arabic and English, with the product site live at grainoz.com.

The problem

Egypt's EV drivers had almost nowhere public to charge, while private chargers sat idle in driveways and garages all day.

What I built

Live charger discovery on MapKit with Core Location and geofenced proximity alerts
Request, approve, charge and pay flow with secure earnings tracking for hosts
Real-time session telemetry and battery analytics synced through Firebase and Firestore
Led architecture, code review standards and sprint delivery for a cross-disciplinary team
Built and deployed the voltyks.net marketing site on Cloudflare Workers

Outcome

Shipped from first commit to both stores, holding a 5.0 App Store rating, and still live today.

Designed and built all five end to end. Hertshe and Grainoz run on React, TypeScript, Vite and Tailwind with Framer Motion, served from Cloudflare Workers with serverless API routes. YR PRIME is an Astro build with React islands, a drag to rotate 3D product and a bilingual Arabic and English layout. Voltyks and New Appera are fast static sites on the same platform.

Quality matters first

I am a mobile lead and product engineer from Alexandria, Egypt. I care about two things: teams that ship without drama, and products that feel fast and native, whether they run on a phone or in a browser.

I have led three mobile teams, shipped my own product as a founder, and worked remotely with companies in Pakistan, Lebanon and Egypt. I build the websites around my apps too, in React and TypeScript on Cloudflare, so I can own a product from the first architecture sketch to the release notes, on every surface it lives on.

All three. I work GMT+2 and overlap comfortably with EMEA and most of the US East Coast.

Will you relocate?

Yes, happily. Gulf, Europe, UK, North America. I hold an Egyptian passport and would need employer visa sponsorship.

Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Lead or Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or Senior iOS Engineer. I am strongest in a lead role that stays hands-on and owns the product outcome.

Native or cross-platform?

Native iOS is my craft: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit. I also ship the Android release and the product website in React and TypeScript when a product needs all three.

Do you build the backend too?

Yes. I build the front end in React and TypeScript and the back end that serves it: serverless API routes on Cloudflare Workers, Firebase Cloud Functions and Auth, Postgres and Firestore data models, payments and push. Hertshe and Grainoz run on exactly that stack, written and deployed by me.
